IFI announces its new director



The freshly Film director of the Irish Film Constitute has been announced.
Sarah Glennie will take up the place in fall 2008.
Glennie has antecedently worked as Director of the Model Humanistic discipline and Niland Gallery and Commissioner of the Irish Pavillion at the Venezia Biennale 2005.
She has curated projects for PS1 MoMA, Fresh York, and Bottle cork 2005 and held positions at the Henry Moore Foundation and the Irish whisky Museum of Modern Artistic production.
Commenting on Glennie's date, Eve-Anne Cullinan, Chairman of IFI, said: "Sarah has a wealth of go through in strategic cultural provision and of run and working in public cultural institutions both in Republic of Ireland and internationally. We ar delighted to welcome Sarah Glennie to IFI to lead ace of the country's most popular cultural venues into an exciting period in its chronicle."
Among the new projects to be undertaken by the IFI are a refurbishment of the IFI centre in Dublin's Eustace Street; a collaborationism with the Dundalk Found of Engineering science on a fresh facility for the Irish Film Archive and a three-year strategy design.
